Sam and Norah explore a derelict building with a history of scary rumors and urban legends. When they enter a room filled with discarded items that backs the stories they’ve heard, Norah gets frightened whilst Sam finds it amazing. One of these many items is an old board game that was used to contact spirits. Despite Norah’s reluctance to play, Sam convinces her and the two attempt to use the board. Whilst Sam isn’t able to contact any spirits, he does realize that something very peculiar happens when he uses the board. Norah freezes in place. She doesn’t even seem to realize this is happening to her either. With the power to pause Norah in time, a devious idea enters Sam’s mind.
